This garmin nuvi 670 video review showcases the sleek style of the unit. The widescreen almost covers the entire front of the device! The Nuvi 670 is extremely smart with its auto complete and route recalculation so you don’t have to make U-turns if you stray away from the path.

As you can tell from the guy holding the Nuvi 670 and giving you all the angles on it’s size and shape, the Nuvi670 has a very sleek and lightweight design. Its small size makes it easy to put in your pocket or purse even while it’s in the leather carrying case. This leaves you no excuses for leaving the unit in your car for thieves to steal no matter how fast you’ll be coming back. The antenna flips up and down to make it less bulky and harder to break. Under the antenna is the spot to clip it to your suction mount. It’s nice having it covered so it can’t get dirty and lose its clipping strength.

Notice how fast the Nuvi 670 boots up and loads everything for the first time. Entering addresses by typing them out is pretty easy with the auto-complete feature. As you’re typing it out, once it is specific enough that it can narrow it down to a few selections you can just pick what you were trying to type from a list. Once you have your destination picked out you can watch the unit drive through the route with the route simulator so you have a better idea where it is going to take you before you go.

At the end of the video they show you just how customizable the Nuvi670 really is. It has tons of options for you to look through if you point to the wrench icon from the menu screen. These options include: maps, system, locale, display, navigation, Bluetooth, proximity points, volume, and traffic. From the system menu you can control things such as turn WAAS on or off, putting it in safe mode, using the Garmin lock safety feature, turning touch tones on or off, and turning on the route simulator. The locale menu lets you control things like language, voice (the accent), distance display, and measurement system. These are important for when you’re going to Canada or Europe because they use a different measurement system from the USA. The navigation menu lets you customize your route with options controlling route preference (shortest distance or fastest route), vehicle type, avoidances (such as avoiding highways or unpaved roads), and the voice prompts.
